Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using SnarkBack™, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live) to use SnarkBack™. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Overview

SnarkBack™ generates short, fictional replies in the style of a selected persona. Nothing shown is a real quote, statement, opinion, or endorsement of any named person. Every reply is written by an AI model, not by the persona.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use SnarkBack™ to:

• harass, bully, threaten, stalk, or intimidate any person;
• create defamatory content or pass replies off as real quotes;
• generate sexual content involving minors, or content that exploits or endangers children;
• promote violence, self-harm, terrorism, or illegal activity;
• impersonate a real person in a deceptive way, or commit fraud;
• violate the rights of others, including privacy, publicity, and intellectual property rights;
• scrape, reverse engineer, resell, or automate access to the Service without written permission;
• circumvent usage caps, rate limits, paywalls, or security controls.

Your content and AI outputs

You keep ownership of the text you submit. You grant us a limited license to process it in order to operate the Service. Subject to these Terms, you may use the replies SnarkBack™ generates for personal or commercial purposes. AI outputs may be inaccurate, offensive, or similar to outputs produced for other users; they are provided for entertainment and are not professional, legal, medical, or financial advice. You are solely responsible for reviewing outputs before sending or publishing them.

AI-generated parody

SnarkBack™ is a parody, satire, and commentary tool. Personas are references to a well-known voice or archetype; replies are creative approximations of that voice, not factual claims. Treat everything you read here as fiction.

Personas & intellectual property

Names, likenesses, and marks of third parties are used nominatively for identification only — so you can tell which style you asked for. Their use does not imply affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement. All trademarks and rights belong to their respective owners.

No endorsement

SnarkBack™ is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any named person, character, estate, brand, or organization referenced by a persona. Any resemblance between an AI-generated reply and the real views of a named person is coincidental and unintended.

User responsibility

You are responsible for how you use and share SnarkBack™ outputs. Don't present replies as real quotes, don't use them to harass, defame, or deceive, and follow the rules of any platform where you share them. When you share a SnarkBack™ image, the built-in disclaimer strip is part of the output — please keep it intact.

Takedown & contact

If you believe content generated about you or a person you represent crosses the line — for example, is being passed off as a real quote, is defamatory, or misuses a name or likeness — reach out via the Feedback link in the footer. We review reports promptly and will adjust or remove personas where appropriate.

Copyright complaints

If you believe material on SnarkBack™ infringes your copyright, send a notice via the Feedback link that includes: identification of the work, the location of the material, your contact details, a statement of good faith belief that the use is unauthorized, a statement that the information is accurate, and your signature. We remove or disable infringing material and may terminate repeat infringers.

Subscriptions, billing & refunds

SnarkBack™ offers a free tier and paid subscription tiers. Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases; Paddle's terms also apply to your transaction. Paid plans renew automatically at the interval shown at checkout until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then. Prices may change with notice, effective at your next renewal. Taxes are calculated and collected by Paddle where applicable.

Refunds: you may request a full refund within 30 days of a purchase or renewal by contacting us via the Feedback link or by contacting Paddle. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.

Usage limits & availability

Each tier has daily reply caps, input-length limits, and history retention windows as described on the Choose a Plan page. We may adjust limits, add or remove personas, or modify features to keep the Service running. The Service is provided on an "as available" basis and may be interrupted for maintenance, third-party outages, or factors outside our control.

Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or create legal risk for us or other users. You may stop using SnarkBack™ and delete your account at any time from your account settings. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and governing law — survive.

Data retention & deletion

Inputs, generated replies, and history are retained according to your plan's history window. We keep a date-stamped audit record of generated replies, including the associated account and IP address, for security, abuse prevention, and legal compliance. Deleting your account removes your personal data and history from active systems within a reasonable period, except records we must keep for legal or security reasons. Disclaimers

SnarkBack™ is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation. We do not warrant that AI outputs will be appropriate, accurate, or suitable for any particular situation.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SnarkBack™ and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or reputational harm arising from your use of the Service or from any reply you send or publish. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SnarkBack™ and its operators from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or of any third-party rights.

Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You and we agree to try to resolve disputes informally first by contacting us via the Feedback link. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing here limits consumer rights that cannot be waived under the law where you live.
